RMACAC Advocacy Grant

Purpose

The Rocky Mountain Association for College Admission Counseling (RMACAC) Advocacy Grants are intended to support initiatives that advance RMACAC’s mission to promote access to higher education and strengthen the professional capacity of counselors who guide students through the transition from secondary school to postsecondary opportunities. This grant is designed to empower residents of our region to take local, state, or regional action aligned with RMACAC’s Advocacy Priorities: expanding college access and affordability, strengthening support for counselors, and enhancing career and postsecondary readiness pathways.

Program Overview

Advocacy Grants provide financial support for projects and actions that advance RMACAC’s Advocacy Priorities. Projects may include direct advocacy with legislators, community events, professional development initiatives, voter registration drives, or other actions that promote RMACAC’s mission. Advocacy Grants may be used to cover any costs directly associated with these efforts.
Grant recipients will share a short summary or presentation of their project outcomes with the RMACAC Government Relations Committee and membership community, helping to inspire continued advocacy throughout the region.

Eligibility

All residents of the RMACAC region (Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and Wyoming) are eligible to apply. Priority will be given to projects that engage or empower more educators and/or students to advocate for RMACAC’s mission.
